It’s October, which means it’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month! GTIA has a robust library of cybersecurity resources. Consider this your guide to the topics that are most relevant to you, your technology business and the IT channel.

Fresh This Fall: New Cybersecurity Resources

Start here. GTIA’s newest research, livestreams, meetups and conversations give you current threat data and expert perspective, right when your clients are paying the most attention to cybersecurity.

New! First GTIA Quarterly Cybersecurity Tracker
The GTIA research and cybersecurity team have teamed up to release a new tracker that offers key, granular metrics on cybersecurity practices, tech usage and other markers collected via survey from a broad sample of ITSPs. This first report covers Q2 data collection. The Q3 report will be published in a few weeks! Download the Q2 report on the Member Portal.

Webinar Series: Cyber Coffee Talk with Nett & Tanja
Grab a cup and join Nett and Tanja for Cyber Coffee Talk. A relaxed livestream where real conversations about cybersecurity take shape. No slides, no script, no fluff. Just two cybersecurity experts who do this work every day, talking honestly about what's happening in security right now. Nett and Tanja tackle what's changed, what's noise, what's worth your attention and what nobody talks about openly. Bring questions. The best episodes go somewhere we didn't plan. 30 minutes, the third Thursday of each month. See you there. Put these dates on your calendar!

Channel Trends in Cybersecurity 2026
Cybersecurity poses an interesting duality for today’s IT service providers (ITSPs). Providers in this space often lament their difficult daily battle against an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape, while at the same time realizing that these relentless threats drive demand and revenue for their businesses. In this 1-hour presentation, Carolyn April, VP of Research and Market Intelligence at GTIA and Matt Lee, Security Senior Director at Pax8, discuss the cybersecurity research and trends that affect the modern ITSP.

Partnering with an MSSP
For many MSPs, partnering with an MSSP is a strategic and viable path to developing cybersecurity proficiency quickly and affordably. In this 31-minute sprint, Charles Love explains why you should partner with an MSSP, critical components to address before partnering, important factors and tips to look for in an MSSP, and what onboarding steps to follow to ensure a successful partnership.

Selling Cybersecurity
Presented by Adam Pilton, this 33-minute course delves into the critical strategies for raising the prices of cybersecurity services in response to the increasing frequency of cyberattacks. Participants will learn how to implement linear price increases to ensure existing clients continue to perceive high value in the services provided. The course also explores various psychological tactics, such as leveraging fear and urgency, to drive sales growth, even amidst potential client skepticism. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of educating clients on the necessity of enhanced cybersecurity measures, highlighting how aligning the interests of both parties can lead to mutual benefit and long-term success.
