Global Leadership Committee (GLC)

The Global Leadership Committee (GLC) is a strategic body of GTIA member leaders—chairs and vice chairs from GTIA’s regional communities, advisory and cybersecurity councils—who work together to foster communication and collaboration across the association. The GLC plays a key role in sharing best practices, encouraging strategic ideation and building awareness and alignment across all member groups. It ensures that the initiatives of GTIA’s communities, advisory and cybersecurity councils are not only coordinated, but also strategically aligned with the association’s global mission, vision and core values. Through shared leadership, global experiences and cross-functional insight, the GLC serves to amplify the impact of member group efforts, foster global connectivity and support GTIA’s mission of driving member engagement, value and growth, while informing benefit and resource requirements. A member of the GTIA Board of Directors also sits on the GLC as a liaison.

Governance

The Global Leadership Committee represents the leadership of all GTIA member groups. The GLC is comprised of the chairs and vice chairs of our regional community’s Executive Councils, Advisory Councils, Member Champions and Cybersecurity Executive Council. The members of each corresponding group elect the chairs and vice chairs of their respective groups. The GLC is managed by the GTIA Chief Community Officer.
