As a community, an industry and as the human race, we have come so far over the last century in improving our ethics towards each other and especially to those who do not fit a ‘norm.’ However, we can never stop improving, learning and ultimately improving the lives of others through what is ultimately kindness and taking an extra thought. This is not a blame game, or to highlight what anyone is doing wrong, but to instead build a foundation of understanding, with a hope that this time next year, there will be even more positive stories of change to share.
