Quick Answer: Most MSPs have applied AI to service desks, documentation, and security monitoring, but project delivery still relies on manual estimates and gut feel. Timelines drift, resources get assigned based on availability rather than data and risk gets caught late because no system is tracking dependencies in real time. Applying AI directly to project execution—not just business operations—closes that gap by keeping timelines, capacity and risk visible as work happens.
