GTIA Member of the Year Award

The GTIA Member of the Year Award recognizes a single member who, in the prior 12 months, demonstrated outstanding service, leadership and impact through their commitment, passion and professionalism. It is the most prestigious acknowledgment that the GTIA community bestows on one of its own members.

Nominate or Apply for the GTIA Member of the Year

Are you the next GTIA Member of the Year? Applying for an award—or nominating a deserving colleague or fellow member—is a great way to be recognized by the GTIA community and the IT industry for your hard work and dedication.

Who is eligible

A nominee or applicant must be a GTIA community member in good standing for a minimum of one year. The award winner must be able to attend the ChannelCon Member of the Year luncheon and ceremony July 27-29, 2027 in Orlando.

What does the Member of the Year award include?                             

The GTIA Member of the Year Award winner is celebrated during a special luncheon at ChannelCon, GTIA's premier industry event. The Member of the Year is also highlighted in press coverage, a GTIA article and a video commemorating their achievement.

Member of the Year Program Benefits

Recognition & Ceremony:
  • Announced and recognized at ChannelCon in North America annually
  • Video montage played from the main stage
  • All prior Members of the Year in attendance welcome the newest member on the main stage
  • Main stage photo ops, selfies, and acceptance speech (if the winner wishes to give one)
Leadership & Governance:
  • Serve on the GLC (Global Leadership Committee) during their term
  • Term runs from ChannelCon to ChannelCon
  • Serve on the Charitable Giving Committee (May 1 to April 30 after being named MOTY)
Speaking & Event Opportunities:
  • Invited to attend and speak at ChannelCon EMEA
  • Invited to attend and speak at regional community meetings (one per region, at their discretion)
  • Featured at GTIA meetups when both MOTY and GTIA staff are present at events
Media & Content:
  • Serve as an evangelist for the Association with various media opportunities
  • Featured in "GTIA On Location" videos throughout their MOTY year
Support & Recognition:
  • GTIA provides full support at any events they attend during their term
